As we close out the school year our after-school clubs are finishing up with celebrations and good-times. We had a great time with our clubs this year and are looking forward to next year! The dinosaurs are coming!

You may remember these fun painted dinosaurs from our old classroom. They spent many years teaching and fascinating all who laid eyes upon them, but it is time for them to move on and continue their mission elsewhere. These three dinosaurs; a stegosaurus, a parasaurolophus, and a triceratops will be touring around the Buncombe County Libraries as a fun exhibit for library goers. Check our website often and when the dino’s are shipped out, their locations will be posted here!

Super SCIENCE Saturdays!

Come join us here at CESM for a Saturday afternoon filled with fun and amazing science activities, games, crafts, and experiments!

June 16th- Kites, the atmosphere, and aerodynamics! Come build and fly your very own kite (to keep!) and learn about the science behind flight!

July 14th- Volcanoes, magma, tectonics, and crystal caverns! Learn about these very cool and exciting topics by building your very own volcano and much more!
