ancient astronomy

Summer Science Homepage

“Ancient Astronomy” is an intensive for students wanting to know more about how culture and civilization are connected to the stars! Students will learn how to pick out constellations and teach their mythology, along with being able to describe the motions of the sky! Emphasis will be placed on early humans learning about their environment by understanding the cycles of the seasons and the stars.

We will be using the GeoDome digital projection system and our STARLAB planetarium for anĀ  experience your student is sure to love! We will also be going on fun field trips around the city to get a better idea for how we are connected to the stars.

Join us for a week of detailed science that will set your student on the course for success in SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, and MATHEMATICS!
